Humans have the unique ability to alter their surroundings to accommodate their immediate needs. Within the public environment this can be observed upon public stairs. Designed with the single objective to assist people on the go, it is through human adaptation that we utilize stairs as a meeting spot, workstation, dining area and for additional leisure activities. Oasis is designed to acknowledge, encourage, and enhance these activities by acting as a destination supporting this human behavior.
